First Day at the Zoo

We went to the “grand” opening of the Glen Oak Zoo today. You, your Mum, your Auntie, and Gramma-cat. The zoo is much bigger and better than it was. There were so many people, they blurred with the animals. It was a zoo of people as well. 🙂 Click below to see pictures.

Aunt Rachael and Her Husband, Sacko

Rattsssss! I went to visit my friend and when I cam back I found this note that your mother left,

Hi Mama!

I missed you! I drove over all by myself and you’re not home! 🙁

Well, I see you’re working on the website [amazingaddison]. Cool.

I’m off back to B’s [Brandon’s, your Poppy] to watch “Road to P”.

Yeah! 🙂

Talk to you later.

Love,
Nichole

Your mother is a very happy and loving person. She is a beautiful person–in her heart, where it counts. I think you will like her, as well as love her.

Your Aunt Rachael and her husband Sacko aren’t getting along. 🙁 Her husband is very nice. And like so many immigrants who come to this Fortunate Place, he is a very hard worker. Aunt Rachael and Hubby Sacko
He comes from the great country of Mali, on the continent of Africa. In ancient times, Mali had a fantastic school in the town of Timbuktu. People from all over the world wanted to attend this school.

Aunt Rachael brought her kitties from their/Sacko’s apartment. Now there are three kitties in your Granmma-cat’s house. I’m sneezing a lot! The kitties names are: Shiva, Charlie, and Big Kitty.

Big Kitty is the Wise and Protecting Lion cat. He behaves well and never jumps up on counters.

Shiva is the smallest of the three and female. She mewls loudly when she wants affection and is a little nervous.

Charlie is very affectionate. He also likes to play fetch. He will play fetch with a human until the human is tired.

Addison, sweetie-pie, I hope you had lots to eat and many burps today!

2nd Babe Shower: Meet Your Relatives!

Addison, today you had a second Baby Shower (the first one was when you were in your mum’s tummy). yummy baby cake :-) You got to meet your second cousin Jack (6 months old) and your other second-cousins.

All of the friends and family were very generous and you received lots of very useful and pretty baby items. It was a fun event and everyone was very nice.

Afterwards, you, your mum, Aunt Rachael and I all went out to eat. While your mother was feeding you in her lap, you peed on her. It was funny. She took you to bathroom, got you changed, and got herself cleaned up. I was scolded for not putting your diaper on correctly prior to the pee’ing event…hehe.

"Ahhh, this is nice and cozy."

Gramma-Cat’s Song Dedication: Breeze

There is so much to learn in life, my amazing little grand-baby.

Click on the image of MCs Stereo to hear a snippet of their song “Breeze” (~40seconds).

Cause there ain’t nothing set in stone
As all that lives keep movin’ on
When all is said and done

the breeze come down and touch our domes
the raindrops fall on every home

Cause there ain’t nothin’ set in stone

Great-Grandma Jerry Shows You Off to Other Great-Grandma’s and Pa’s

Today your mother, your Aunt Rachael, you and I went to visit your Great-Grandma Jerry.  She lives in a retirement home.  Your G-G Jerry moves around in a wheel chair.  We think she likes it.  She certainly maneuvers very well in it.  When she is excited in conversation, she’ll move rapdily back and forth in it, like a standing person who paces.

All of us walked behind your G-G Jerry as her royal entourage.  I was the lucky one to carry The Amazing Addison. I introduced you to a dozen different people.  They all had smiles for you.  You were due for a royal Feeding, so we bid our farewell to the crowd and G-G Jerry and headed off to your castle.
